And we are back with more amazing shots by Pam Rodrigues  from the Vintage Shower we had a couple of weekends ago.

I wanted to show some of the details from the dessert table and also to let you know  – in case you couldn’t tell :) – that I even used coffee filter  ( a lot of it )dyed with tea to create the decor for this party. Take a look at the frame we used for the photos, all decorated with coffee filter flowers.

Once again a big thank you to Neide Lima from GIF Floral and Event Design for her amazing creations and Pam for all the awesome pictures.

PS: a few of the pictures were taken by yours truly, so excuse the lack of professionalism :)

Myself and Gabi, the bride to be ( she is getting married in a week, yay!!) posing with the frame I made using coffee filter flowers.

You can read more about this party here ( also see all the credits).

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Yay! It’s finally here. I’m thrilled to share with you the AMAZING pictures Pam from Pam Rodrigues Photography took of  the Bridal Shower I designed last weekend.

When my dear friend Joyce Walker approached me to plan her future sister-in-law’s bridal shower I couldn’t be more excited and honored. Joyce is one of those few people who you carry in your heart, one of those friendships that will endure everything and last forever.

Even before the date was set I was sure of the theme, you see, the bride to be, Gabriela, is a fashion designer and I knew for a fact that I wanted to incorporate that on the shower. I wanted the shower to have a vintage/romantic feeling and to incorporate texture and fabrics. Once we had the date I designed the invitation set ( see the post here) and came up with the design for the whole party.

I couldn’t be happier with the end result.

It was an honor to work with Neide Lima, the amazing girl behind GIF Floral and Event Design, she created all the flower arrangements and they were stunning!

Once again, Pam from Pam Rodrigues Photography was there to capture every detail and every moment of this special day.

Thank you Joyce and Gabriela for the opportunity. And congrats to Gabi!!!

I hope you are in for an overload of pictures. I’ll have to show you the details in 2 posts.

Enjoy!

TGIF!! Yes indeed! I hope you have great things planned for your weekend.

I’ve been planning a vintage inspired bridal shower that will take place in a few weeks  and today I want to share with you the invitation I created for the bride. She is a Fashion Designer and because of that I wanted the invite to have some kind of texture to it.

All pictures by the talented Pam from Pam Rodrigues Photos

I also created a separate card with her registry info and a request for each guest to bring their favorite recipe and also lined the envelope. Here is how it all came together

I just love this <3

The set is available on my etsy shop

Have a wonderful weekend!!

I was approached few weeks ago by Gabi, a dear friend and bride to be, to put together a bachelorette/Bridal shower in two (yes, two) days, so she could celebrate her best friend that was going back to Brazil and wasn’t going to make for the “official” shower ( that I’m also planning, wink *).

I decided to host the party at my house and wanted to incorporate a bit of Spring (that I know it will come to NY, eventually) and her love for Tulips. The menu was not your typical finger food. We had Tortellini Salad that were served on tea cups, Filet Mignon on sticks (yay for Bj’s), mini hamburgers and Phylo cups filled with quiche.  And for dessert we had the most delicious red velvet cupcake and lemon tarts from Cannelle Patisserie. Here is how it all turn out. All pictures from the always amazing Pam of Pam Rodrigues Photos

We had so much fun, all of us!! Congrats to Gabi and Lucas! Can’t wait to show you all I have planned  for the”Real” shower and reception.

Happy Tuesday everyone!
